Mya Carole Frey

Trisha (and hubby) arrived at the hospital at 5:30 am. Time seemed to fly by with all of the people coming in and out of the room. We had a few minutes with the night shift people before the shift change. She said the "well rested and chipper nurses will be in soon."
Mya Carole Frey. 8 lbs. 10 oz. 21 inches.

Wiped out. Trish had bouts of nausea during the C-Section and afterward. That seemed to be the only issue. Mya was doing well. Her blood sugar was low and the first feeding was supplemented.

She's a keeper. Ava was happy to see her sister and she was gentle. She seemed to understand that she is no longer in mom's tummy. It may be a challenge to keep her from smothering her little sister. Ava gave her a little toy and Mya gave her big sister a new Belle Barbie with a horse. We will be in the hospital until September 3rd.

Trish #1 & Trish #2

There are 3 hygienists at my work, 2 of us are Trish! She is having a baby about 2 weeks after me, so fun. My boss isn't too excited, but he'll live. We had planned our last pregnancies one at a time, but this of course was a big suprise to me and hers was an "oops."

I survived my last day today! It was especially tough because my 1st patient was Jeremy Frey. I'm soooo very ready to be done, pregnancy is not my favorite thing, but the end result is going to be AWESOME!!! Only 4.5 days....

(Side note: I had a patient tell me today I didn't look that ready, that I could actually be bigger...what the heck??? I think I'm pretty dang big & ready RIGHT now!!)

"I love to see the Temple"

This is the Portland OR Temple, so beautiful!

We had a Birthday party for Jer's coworker to go to on Saturday and he happens to live just past the Temple. On the way home, we decided Ava needed to see the temple and she wanted to as well. Glad we stopped!

It was cute to watch her take in this beautiful, sacred place. She just kept staring up at the tall spires. There is a gold statue on top (info for those non-LDS followers) who represents Angel Moroni, Ava kept calling him Joseph Smith. Not even sure where that came from.

But as we were leaving, Ava asked if we were going inside. We told her no, because we

weren't in church clothes and she'd have to be really, really quiet. The poor gal burst into tears, she was just devastated. I wanted to cry with her, it was so sweet. I can't wait for the day to take her into the Temple and have her feel the Spirit that is in there.

Today after church Jeremy was nice and took Ava for a walk so Mommy could nap in peace. When they got back they decided to lay in the shade and check out the clouds in the sky.

It was quite cute and they stayed out there like that for awhile. Mommy enjoyed the peace, but had trouble sleeping anyways.

Tomorrow morning it will be 8 days till Delivery-Day!!! I can't wait

to meet Baby Mya and see what she looks like, I keep expecting her to look like Ava, though I know she probably won't. Finally got all the baby clothes unpacked and cleaned and ready to go. Now I just need to pack my hospital bag and I think we are set to go. We took down all the baby gear yesterday and Ava has been having a blast using them for her baby dolls. I don't think she gets how soon baby will be here, since she's taken so long to grow, but she did tell me the other day that "Mommy is getting so big, baby sister is growing." Thanks. She has a new phrase that cracks me up...when she's trying to tell you something and can't think of the right word, she'll pause and then laugh and say "I can't say." Love my girl (most of the time)!

Ava's 1st boating/tubing experience!!!

It was hot Saturday here in Oregon, but thankfully our friends invited us to a

lake up in WA to celebrate Cavan's Birthday (Happy Birthday today!!!)

Their parents own a boat and we got to take a little ride in it, Ava's

1st ride to be exact. She was having a blast riding in the boat.

My man Jeremy (with our friends nephew), just hanging out, ready for some action.

Hmmm....this is a little scary, but way fun!

Trying to sit on Mom's lap these days is no easy task...there is barely any room left.

Oh but I held her tight, didn't need her to go flying.

Now it's Daddy & Ava's turn!!! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared

to have her out there. Thankfully we weren't going to fast, but they still did some good bouncing and Ava looked like she was getting some whiplash.

Even without a smile on her face to be found out there, she still said it was fun.

They had to stop once because her shoe came off or she took it off.

It was a great day and we stayed cool playing by the water all day.

Thanks for the invite Dovers!!!! Enjoy all your Mt Dew...hahaha.

Ava's NEW room!

We decided to kick Ava out of her room and give her the bigger Guest room, so when baby comes all the crib stuff matches the walls/decor in the smaller room and baby can just be in there...well eventually.

We didn't want to paint this room again, it's been done like 3 times since we've owned the house....it's had some pretty scary colors that we chose, sadly.

So I found some cute wall decor, love Vinyl decals, so easy to use and remove.

And I got the idea for the tulle swag from some blog, I think it turned out cute, quite girly!

And for some reason, she actually plays in her new room more than she ever

did in the other one. It's kind of nice!

We had to find her a new dresser, so found her a used one on Craiglist, but still in good shape.

Now I just need to get rid of the black curtains and find some pink ones and have Jeremy

build some shelves over the bookcase to put pics on.

Easy enough!

And she was more than happy to take over "Aunt Lissa's room"...which she kept telling me.

We love the Zoo and our Cousins!!!!

First off, sorry, there are alot of pics in this post. I just stuck them all together.

I have this week off of work and wanted to have some fun with Ava, so we headed to the Zoo...her favorite place! And that creature behind her would be her fav animal there...the alligator or crocidile...she calls it both. And she makes up good stories about it.

We loved the polar bear, it was it's lunch time. So Ava got to watch it chow down

a couple dead fish and she didn't mind at all.

This past weekend we went up to WA to see my family, it's so

fun getting these 3 cousins together, they play pretty well.

My Sister left this past Monday to go start teaching school in Provo, UT and bro Andrew

will be heading back to college in Prescott, AZ in a couple weeks.

My poor hubby, this is a common occurance when we visit.

He's a great play toy!

The big boys built some little styrofoam planes and later built model rockets which

they launched in the backyard.

And lets not forget this cute little man, Liam!

He is just too sweet and has the most adorable little laugh when you tickle him.

I got lots of snuggles and kisses in with him.

I should find the other pic I have that looks almost exactly like this, but it's with my nephew Kael at about the same age, now he is 5! Jake loves to snuggle the babies, they are a little less rough then the older ones.

We are adjusting back to normal life without my sister here, it was sad to see her go,

but she has lots of exciting changes ahead.

But Ava doesn't like to be left with me too much, she's totally anti-potty training with me around and is a bit more defiant. It'll be a long 3 months when I'm on maternity leave! But I'm excited for the time off to spend with my girls. Only 3 weeks and 6 days!

Now I just have to move Ava into her new room and get it all decorated, then after all our company is gone when baby comes, we'll set up the babies room. Fun stuff!

Complete randomness...but lots of fun!

32 Weeks and 2 days...only 6 weeks and 1 day to go!!! Sometimes I don't feel "that" big, so I'm always a little taken back when I see pics of myself, OH MY!

My second to youngest brother Andrew was up for this past weekend, Ava kept
calling him Uncle Mark, because we recently saw him at the Reunion.
She loves any attention she gets from her Aunts & Uncles.

Well potty training is a NIGHTMARE that I wish would go away. She'll have a good day, then a bad and back & forth. When we were at the Reunion, she was PERFECT and would go every time we asked and stayed dry during the many hours of driving. Well, the next week I was home and she was refusing to use the toilet. Now it's on and off. But the other night Jeremy was getting her bath started, then he walked out of the room to get something and my sis & I heard Ava saying she had to go potty (never happens). She preceded to get her pants and pull-up down and get on the toilet and go with noone watching her. Well, we were spying, but she didn't know it. So my sis grabbed the camera and took this pic after she went.

But the past couple days have been bad again...we are losing this battle!!!

I'll have two kids in diapers soon, too bad!

One day she went in my room and came out with my socks on and had put her sandals back on over them. Silly girl.

Okay that wraps up our randomness, but we've been having a pretty good summer.

We are sad for Aunt Melissa's departure back to UT in 2 weeks, her 2 month stay went by way fast, but we wish her well in her new adventures as a Full-time Teacher!!!
