Time with The Frey's!

Jeremy's Mom, Dad, and brother Joe (Uncle Joey) came

for a visit from good ol' Minnesota!

Ava talks to them all the time on Webcam, so

she know just who they were when they arrived.

I tried to move this pic to the bottom, didn't work today.
This is Ava all tuckered out after a day of driving to the beach,
playing on the beach, and just having fun.
We rented a Beach House for a couple nights, well the 1st night it
was all too new to Ava, so I think she was afraid to go to sleep alone.
So we let her stay up till she crashed, at 10:45PM!!!
Then she still woke up 3 times in the night and was wide-eyed at 7am (or was it 6).

The Oregon Coast water is FREEZING! So it's only fun to run
away from the water and not get wet.

This is what she probably has to look forward to though,

poor girl will have height and big feet on her side.

Flying her Princess Kite, she did a good job.

Though the crazy amount of wind present that day helped a lot.

So on the way to the Coast, we stopped for Lunch and Ice Cream at DQ.

Well Ava is horrible in resturants and can't sit still for a second, drives us NUTS!

So she's goofing off and sits on the table, right on a pile of ketchup for her hot dog!

Had to strip the pants and wash them, so this is what she got left with.

Ghetto huh? But oh so cute.

Mother in NEED!

Ava loving on all the babies!

Okay, so I posted these adorable pics of Ava being the sweet angel she is with babies.
But I'm really here to vent and ask for advice. Though I know ever kid
and parent work differently, I'm just at a loss.
Ava has gone in and out of phases of hitting, Jeremy and I in particular. She's actually
doing better with not hitting other kids anymore, just us!
She gets put in time out, we talk to her about how it makes us sad and she'll
quickly apologize and move on. But it happens again and again. Especially if we tell
her no to something she wants, she makes an angry face and wacks us.
I've slapped her on her hand to show her it hurts us, then she falls apart crying like I've beaten
her. So Mommies out there, if you've had this problem, what has worked for you.
We have some friends that do spank their kids, but I'm not sure we want to get to that. Though I completely understand every kid responds differently, and that works for them.
Anyway, I spent my Mother's Day at church getting hit a few times, did not make me feel special!!! Help me ladies!!!

HAPPY GRADUATION!!!

Of course this is a week late (I'm lazy), but I went to Utah to see

my sister Melissa graduate from BYU with a Bachelors in Elementary

Education and Early Childhood education last weekend. (I think those are the names)

I'm so dang proud of her! It took her awhile to graduate, but

she also served a Mission for our church in the middle of her education, and

that was awesome of her.

Had to snap a pic of these Hawaiin gals all covered up in lai's.
My Mom and stepdad Bill also flew down. My sister dragged the 3 of us all
over Utah for 4 days, I was tired! But we got to see lots of family.

My Best Friend!!!!! This is why I'm glad Ava is getting a sister, because though

they may fight alot while growing up, hopefully they'll be best friends as adults!!!

This is my sister's 3rd grade class, she has been interning for the past year and

they love her there. We're praying she gets the job she wants at this school!

Crazy Hair!

I had to post some old photos of Ava's awesome hair. There is the cutest little baby in our

playgroup, whom Ava calls Baby Maddie and she has the awesome spiky hair that Ava used to have. Every time we are together, it takes me back to these days:

The top picture is when her hair was getting ready to lay down, so sad. This was her 1st Birthday!

Looking at these pics makes me SOOOO excited to have another little one around, especially since it's going to be another girl!

Jer and I are hoping she has the same crazy hair as her big sister!!!!!

GIRL OR BOY?????

Today was our ULTRASOUND!!!! The big question was, is Ava going to get the Baby Sister she keeps talking about and is Jeremy going to be cursed with all girls like he believes. Well, this baby is awesome.....1st we made it FREE......and 2nd we already have TONS of clothes for it!!!! We are having another GIRL!!!! And we are all thrilled to death, not that I have anything against boys, but we made a pretty cute girl and I'm sure we can do it again! :) Woohoooo!
Now for the name game......we have NO IDEA.

SPRING TIME!

It's that time of year when we get to go outside and play in the dirt.
What am talking about....I let Jeremy and Ava do the dirt playing!

And she is pretty dang sure she's getting a baby sister.....we shall see....

We spent the last two weekends up in WA, one for Liam's blessing and the next for Easter & my sister coming home from UT for her Spring Break.

Lots of fun with the family, but unfortunatly Ava was really sick the 1st weekend and

I got her sickness and was yucky the 2nd one. But my Mommy took great care of me and let me rest alot!

Tomorrow I'll try to post pics of my preggo belly, cause it's growing! In just 2 1/2 weeks I'll know what we are having.....so excited!
